Plot Summary
In the 20th year of the Great Chu Dynasty, Shen Ye, the illegitimate son of a concubine, seeks revenge and plans to install his lover, Su Cheng, on the throne. But Su Cheng, unwilling to cause further bloodshed, convinces Shen Ye to abandon his rebellion, and the two retire. After Su Cheng's death in battle, Shen Ye becomes a ruthless regent, intent on reclaiming him. Eight years later, Shen Ye, now disguised as Wang Xu, meets Mo Hui, a princess who looks exactly like Su Cheng. Believing her to be his lost love, Shen Ye's search for the past is rekindled, drawing him and his former allies into a new web of fate and love.
