Plot Summary
With a kind heart and good nature, Ye Xi could have been a model young woman if not for her lofty dreams and idealistic aspirations. Wanting to become one of the greatest and most heroic martial artists of her generation, Ye Xi did everything she could to make her dream come true. Little did she know that the path to becoming a hero was often interrupted by a series of trials and tribulations.
Unaware of the fact that the human heart often has a dark side, Ye Xi was shocked when her efforts to help the weak were met with darkness and deceit. Used, lied to, and betrayed by those around her, Ye Xi soon found her reputation in tatters and her life in danger. Surprisingly, even after these constant attacks on her character, and even her life, Ye Xi refused to give up her belief that justice was inherently in the human heart. A belief that grew stronger after she met a divine physician named Bai Yue.
