Plot Summary
As a talented pi-pa player, Li Sa-sha has performed on many stages. But when during one of her performances she finds herself magically transported to the Xiang Dynasty, she finds herself receiving the most unexpected stage attention.
Waking up in the Xiang Dynasty, she now inhabits the body of Li Ru-niang, a woman who was once a talented pi-pa player. Completely lost in this new world, Sa-sha wanders aimlessly through the streets of Shangjing until she meets Lu Jing-nian, the head of a musical sect known as the Right Fang Sect. Joining the group over their shared love of music, Sa-sha quickly settles in as a member of the group. Forming friendships with other members of the sect, Sa-sha and Jing-nian soon decide that the time is right to form an all-female musical group unlike anything the world has ever known.
Through the struggle to bring this unlikely group together, Sa Sa and Jing Nian grow closer, their hearts connected through their shared love of music. But with Sa Sa from another era, will their newfound love fade away before it has a chance to blossom?
